Agya Poudyal, Director
Agya is currently working with World Education, particularly on child labour issues. Her academic background is in International Relations and Development Studies. Her interests extend to issues concerning women rights, power, inequality, social welfare, migration, health justice and good governance.
Dev Mahato, Director of Finances
Dev is an economist. He holds a bachelor degree in economics and engineering from Brown University and is currently working towards his Master’s degree in Economics at The Graduate Institute in Geneva.
Jyoti Pandey, Director of Programs
Jyoti is a Social Protection Analyst at the World Bank Nepal country office where works on improving government policies and programs for the poor and vulnerable. She holds a Master’s in public policy from Hertie School of Governance, Germany.
Shrochis Karki, Executive Director
Shrochis Karki is a Consultant in the Education, Early Childhood Development, and Labour portfolio at Oxford Policy Management, an international research-based policy institute working to reduce poverty and disadvantage in low and middle income countries around the world. OPM works with governments and bi- and multi-lateral organisations, and Shrochis is involved with education projects in Pakistan, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Nepal. He has a PhD in International Development from the University of Oxford.

We have also registered a partnership organization in the US. There is an independent team in place, and they are working towards their own initiatives to facilitate higher education for meritorious needy students. We will post further updates as they become available.
Pragya is a Master in Public Policy Candidate at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She is particularly interested in entrepreneurial solutions that use technology to provide access to education.
Basistha currents works at Bloomberg LP in New York as a software engineer.
Bijaya Babu Shiwakoti
Bijaya is the Program Director of Shanti Education Initiative Nepal and has been involved with the Santi School Project since its inception. He has overseen the establishment and operation of two mobile libraries in rural Nepal.
Jelle J P Wouters is a PhD student in Anthropology at the North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, with an MPhil from Oxford University. He is a founding member and currently strategic adviser to Care For All – Nepal. He has been engaged in various grassroots development and education activities in Nepal for the past five years.
Mark van den Eijkel
Sanam is an entrepreneur and MD of Aadhar Development Private Limited. He holds decade long expertise on school sponsorship. He also founded Catalyst for Transformation Pvt. Ltd., an exclusive training firm inspiring young and aspiring individuals.
Trina is a human rights professional, who worked for two years at Global Rights, based in Washington, DC and then for child and youth rights at CWIN in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Vidhan is a founding partner of Biruwa Ventures. He is also vice-chairman of Santi School Project, which renovated Biswamitra Ganesh school, from which our fellows graduated. Along with Shrochis, he provided the initial capital for the project, and was instrumental in getting the Foundation off the ground.
