Bibek Shrestha

Bibek Shrestha is from Baluwa, an hour’s walk from the main road in Kabhre. With very little land in their name, his mother, a single parent, supports him and his younger brother by working as a daily wage laborer. His mother looks to him to do well at school to support the family.

Bibek has cultivated his resolve to excel in school as a direct result of the adversities his family has faced. He is now enrolled at Pentagon International College to study science.
